Why is Religion Bad?
Most of the population follow some religion in some way or another, some people will claim they are Christian or Catholic but never attend a church or even attempt to meet any other religious requirements or demonstrate other religious qualities. So why do they feel the need to claim they belong to a religion??
Have we as a society been conditioned to feel this way???
Then there are the people who are obsessed and driven by the religious belief, but sometimes this drive turns into anger and prejudice. But what I really don’t understand is the fact that religion supposed to be based on loving the neighbour and bringing peace and love to mankind, this is in all religious books across the world, yet religion appears to be the fuel for all our wars ,destruction and poverty in the world!.

Is the result of what we think?
Only then can a man escape being filled with hatred, if his mind
Is constantly repeating....... He misused me, he hit me, he defeated me, he robbed me____?
Hatred can never put an end to hatred: hatred is only conquered by love.

Although i ahve been christianed a christian, i class myself now 20 to not have a belief, as i do not attend church, and i am unsure as to whether or not i believe in faith or not, or wether there is a good or not with all the bad behaviour which is happening in the world. Anyway back to my point, labeling your self a 'christian' or a 'catholic' is very easy, however showing commitment to what you label your self is what determines you as to what your true to. Being christian or catholic is believing in your religon, going to church and making decisions around your faith. Even though im christianed a christan i do not see myself a christian as i do not practise the faith or attend church.
I agree, religion is ment to give people a piece of mind, making them feel safe and loved however religion seems to also bring war and hatrid.
